| Iin Thailand. i’m 32 years old (wow… time flies) and i’m officially an ex-pat since moving here over 3 years ago from the US. my intention of moving here initially was business but i found personal reasons to stay here as well. it’s a great place but has its ups and downs. i’ve lived in Bangkok, Pattaya and now in a small village called Nadee in Pradjin Buri province. of course moving here meant i needed to find something to entertain myself as well as continuing to research possible investments for my business so i re-discovered radio controlled cars. i didn’t realize how popular the hobby is in thailand until i purchased my first nitro vehicle at Pattaya Shoes (a combo hobby/clothing shop in South Pattaya). i probably should’ve done a bit of research before coming back to thailand cuz the price was far beyond what i would’ve paid if i bought it in the US and brought it here myself - another tough on the pockets lesson i had to learn the hard way. i picked up a Traxxas Jato 3.3 and began online research for hop-ups and local tracks. after discovering the popularity of the hobby but limited supply of Iin Thailand. i’m 32 years old (wow… time flies) and i’m officially an ex-pat since moving here over 3 years ago from the US. my intention of moving here initially was business but i found personal reasons to stay here as well. it’s a great place but has its ups and downs. i’ve lived in Bangkok, Pattaya and now in a small village called Nadee in Pradjin Buri province. of course moving here meant i needed to find something to entertain myself as well as continuing to research possible investments for my business so i re-discovered radio controlled cars. i didn’t realize how popular the hobby is in thailand until i purchased my first nitro vehicle at Pattaya Shoes (a combo hobby/clothing shop in South Pattaya). i probably should’ve done a bit of research before coming back to thailand cuz the price was far beyond what i would’ve paid if i bought it in the US and brought it here myself -
