What’s in the future for porn? porn has progressed over the years..and I’m astounded to have lived to see most of it progress. It started with those wonderful 1-900 numbers and danny’s hard drive…then went on to webcams, livecams, interactive DVD porn, and message boards and blogs, and interactive porn stories…etc..

But what is in the future for porn? Many would say its the mobile industry. M Commerce is starting to be the hottest thing that is hitting the adult market. Even AVN touts it as something to look out for in the present..as well as the future.

But how many of us will make that move to the M-industry for porn? Right now, the technology is there for wallpaper downloads to your cell phone, streaming porn through your cellphone (for those phones capable) and other stuff. I even see where they are coming out with vending machines for cellphone porn that use the infrared technology. You put in a quarter, or dollar, or your credit card, and it beams a movie to your cellphone.

What intrigues me is how the government is going to find a way to get their hands into this one and jerk the webmasters off that are trying to use this method. Current M commerce revenues in the US last year were 6.8 billion…BILLION, and current projections are that the sector will grow to more than $550 million per year by 2008.

So my question to us webmasters out there is, do we hop on the mobile bandwagon, or sit back and wait a bit to see how it all flushes with the government? (I remember that stupid ACACIA crap years ago that had all of our panties in a bind that mysteriously evaporated after a few years…will this do the same thing and slip underneath the government’s radar? Or is it here to stay?)
