I have a few reasons but the first starts off with his limited perspective. At the end of October, rapper 50 Cent lashed out at fellow hip-hop star Kanye West for accusing US President George W Bush of racism in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. In other words “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people.” The “In Da Club” rapper believes human intervention could not have prevented the effects of the hurricane, which killed thousands of people in the US gulf states in August, and sees no point in reprimanding the President for something which was beyond his control. He says, “The New Orleans disaster was meant to happen. It was an act of God. “I think people responded to it the best way they can. “What Kanye West was saying, I don’t know where that came from.” In reading his statement I wonder if he’s really absolving Bush or is he just trying to Hate on Kanye because it means less attention for him. He has already gone on record a saying he feels Kanye is succesful because of him.

However, I award him this because he doesn’t care about community. He once told Feds Magazine ” ‘F–k anybody else’s kids. I don’t care about nobody else’s kids as long as my kid is alright.’” Fellow rapper Saigon said of him “You got more money than you could ever spend in your life. What is your excuse for still doing this shit? What is the excuse for your new single you are talking about, ‘On my way O.T. to flip them bricks…’ You just made $50 million last year. What are you doing even thinking about a brick? (Brick = a large unit of Cocaine). So in the end Hater Award goes to 50 Cent for his hate of the Community. Fiddy was quoted, in response to the protest of his movie promotions billboard as telling Reuters “I think Paramount made a business decision. I don’t have a problem with it. At the end of the day, those kids are going to see the film.” Now, I don’t support the censorship of artist but I don’t support feeding bullshit to kids either.

50 Cent has proven to be a Hater that will sell anything for money. He will cause a disturbance just for the simple fact no one was paying attention to him for what he thought was too long. Here is someone who has made it out of his lower class situation but doesn’t do anything to pave and way for those coming up behind him. Those that would burn a bridge just for the simple fact that one day someone else might travel it and somehow make more money than him.

I grew up around both honorable and dishonorable thugs. I know the difference between a person who grew up and just so happens to be a thug and those that enjoy it so much that they will continue to do it regardless if they have another means of making money or not. This award is also not to give any ammunition or support to those Civil Right’s suit wearing bammas that target musical artist for the sake of the media and money, either. This is about the Havemore-ish type Hate and dishonor that 50 has continuously displayed for the community and his ongoing disrespect to the children. If you’re an artist be an artist but undercover house servants need to be exposed for their Hater support. There is more depth to the Community than the images that 50 Cent and his Boxhead Corporate buddies would like to exploit for profit.
