There is a cross between all three genre’s that is slowly becoming a revolutionary turn in the world of ‘pornography’. A friend of mine  is writing an article about it- in which I will be interviewed along with others about the current state of porn and how it has evolved over the years. The debate of Erotica VS Porn will continue- despite our reluctance to talk about it much anymore due to either frustration or redundancy. I’ve talked about this topic before…where will porn take us? Will it evolve beyond the beastiality of sweaty fucking and sucking and doing whatever? Where is the ‘art’ in porn? Let’s go to Xbiz for some answers:

If we take a look at Porn vs Erotica…we can see the following from that statement:
1. Porn is cheap, erotica is expensive
2. Porn is easy to create and anybody can do it

BUT…does ‘erotica’ sell? Yes…if marketed correctly. There is a myth that it does not sell because it is difficult and expensive to produce and the price of production (and therefore of course the sales price) cannot compete with cheaply and easy produced porn. It would sell if the price would be competitive- AND if the content were fresh and presented in a manner that would entice the normal hamburger porn eating male. however, there is more porn in the market than erotica because - not unlike the meals mentioned above - everybody can do a hamburger at home but only very few in the adult biz are intelligent, experienced, educated and patient enough to create some good erotica.

BUT if seen over a longer period in the future, erotica will win over porn. You just don’t eat hamburger all your life. At some point your doctor would say to look at your cholesterol and to select better what you eat and how you eat and why you eat, even if it is more expensive then- the question is, however, why is there a lack of quality ‘erotica’ in the ethnic genre’s? Or IS there? If art is the reflection of life..then are we all eating at McDonald’s hoping for a piece of filet mignon later on? Are we ‘working’ up to eroticism in our porn- or is it already there and filtered through cultural lenses?

There is a website called superbeauty.org that see’s erotica vs porn as a mission..a ‘fight’ if you will. “(the) new age in the evolution of the human being — a time when female beauty and sexuality are finally freed.”…. it is a series of sites aimed and “ united in a modern movement to change the world and improve the human condition through the creation, admiration, understanding, moral defense and political protection of female beauty and sexuality throughout the world. “Superbeauty believes:” that with the exception of the human mind, there is no more powerful and moral tool for human survival, success and happiness than the female body. Rather than eventually destroying the world, we believe it is here to save it. Thus we believe that the attacks we see on female beauty and/or the women who possess and use it are attacks on all of us, on our children, on our motivation and moral rectitude, on our future, and on our essential humanity”

More power to them…. “If you would like to see what the world looks like when women and their beauty are finally allowed to freely work their wonders…The time is now to let the whole world see female beauty naked in all her power and glory.” Beauty will save the world. Yes, Beauty WILL save the world..but when will porn evolve from what it is today to this level? Sites such as Bluenudes and HegreArt,  New nude mag, Gallery Carre and even Bob Coulter’s wonderful colors and crazy artistic photos of Crazy Babe have enjoyed an almost cultish following for years- but when will it become more mainstream? When will the ‘beauty’ in porn surface instead of the raw sex of it? Sure, everyone needs a good raw fuck every now and then..but isn’t there more? What about the beauty in the human frame? The male frame? No one gives a shit. It’s like.."show me the ass, show me the titties, show me a dick going in and out or getting sucked  or some nut on some chic’s face and shut the fuck up, bitch." Ok. Fine. But there is more to sex than this- and porn will evolve beyond the narrowness of the confines that some people put them in.
