how do i get into porn?

the movies don’t download, why?
this will have a lot to do with the browser you are using. if you click the link to the movie file (normal left click) some browsers will try to load the video into the browser. the files are not feeds & are very large so when this happens, it will seem as if the file is not downloading when - in reality - it is, just not fast enough for you to view it in your browser. the whole idea is to allow you to be able to download & save the movies so that you can view them anytime (even if your membership expires).

here’s how to download & save: RIGHT click the link to the movie you want to download (the file will have a .MPG or .WMV extension). when the menu pops up, click “save file as…” (or “save link as” in Firefox) you will then be asked to designate a location to save the file. the best place is on your desktop but if you think you can find it elsewhere later, feel free to save it anywhere you like. once you have chosen a location on your computer, click “save” & the file download will begin. once the download has completed, you can open the file using just about any player available including windows media player & winamp.

download time will depend upon your connection speed & the file size. normally the movies @ DQ are around 8mb-40mb in size for each 2-3 minute clip. if available, i load the movies in 2-3 sizes to make it easier to download no matter what connection speed you are on. bigger movie, better quality = larger file size.

photos & video files. there are literally millions of various files posted to newgroups every day including text files, photos, dvd rips, movie clips covering just about any niche of content you could think of. basically, its like a community built to share files. the newsgroup reader here in the members area, thumbnails these images for you to easily choose what you want to download. movie files are a different story. because its often not as easy to draw a thumbnail from a movie clip, they are shown simply as attachments to messages (just as all files are attachments to messages). you can choose which file attachment you wish to download by browsing the the listing of messages (be careful only to download files in .mpg, .avi or .wmv format).

what is a .RAR file?
many files uploaded to newsgroups (like dvd rips & movie files) are way to large to attach to one message. large files may get corrupted during the download process so it only makes sense to break those large files up into smaller pieces to then use a software application to put those files back together once you have downloaded all the pieces. assuming you are using windows & want to download a file that has been split into rar files, you will need to download WinRAR (rarsoft.com) which is a compression/decompression application (similar to WinZIP). once you have installed this application, windows will know what to do with .RAR files. sometimes, there may be a file missing from the set you have downloaded & if you can’t find it, you can recover the missing files by using the .PAR files that are normally posted with the original files. you will need to download & install QuickPar (quickpar.org.uk) to repair a .RAR archive that has missing files.
